State Public Housing (CHAMP)
Dedham Housing Authority-owned residences provide affordable rental housing for eligible low- and moderate-income individuals and families in the Town of Dedham. DHA operates 6 housing communities totaling 317 units, including both elderly/disabled and family housing properties located throughout the community.

Affordable Housing for Families, Seniors, and Individuals with Disabilities
The Dedham Housing Authority (DHA) owns and manages affordable rental housing through the Massachusetts State Public Housing Program. These homes provide safe, quality, and affordable housing for eligible low-income households, including families, older adults, and individuals with disabilities.
Unlike the Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) Program, State Public Housing consists of apartments and homes that are owned and maintained by the Dedham Housing Authority. Eligible residents pay an affordable rent based on their household income in accordance with state regulations. State-funded public housing is administered locally by DHA and overseen by the Massachusetts Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities (EOHLC).
Public Housing Properties Administered by DHA
