All About
Dedham Housing Authority
The Dedham Housing Authority (DHA) is dedicated to providing safe, affordable housing opportunities and supportive services that strengthen individuals, families, older adults, and individuals with disabilities throughout the communities we serve.

Serving Communities Through Affordable Housing Opportunities
The Dedham Housing Authority (DHA) is committed to providing safe, decent, and affordable housing opportunities to eligible individuals and families in Dedham and the communities of Belmont, Billerica, Bellingham, Millis, North Attleborough, Oxford, Warren, Webster, and Wellesley. We administer a range of housing assistance programs, including State-aided Public Housing and the Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) program, which help residents access quality housing in both DHA-managed properties and the private rental market.
Our programs are designed to support low- and moderate-income households, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, veterans, and working families. Eligibility for assistance is determined based on income guidelines established by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and The Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities (EOHLC). In accordance with these guidelines, rental assistance ensures households pay an affordable portion of their income toward rent while the program subsidizes the remainder.
The Dedham Housing Authority is dedicated to promoting fair housing, equal opportunity, and non-discrimination in all programs and services. We strive to ensure that housing resources are administered with transparency, integrity, and respect for the residents and landlords we serve, while supporting the overall well-being of the our community.
